The evening is drawing in and we have in fact done exactly what Nico wanted, we have spent the day naked and in bed. The sex has been off the charts I can feel my body humming with content and satisfaction, I think we have both dozed in and out of sleep but I know I’ll get fidgety if I don’t do something. “C’mon babe, I need to do something.” I nudge Nico, he’s lying on his stomach with his hands under the pillow, I know he’s not sleeping but he’s not far away. “Nicky, come on let’s go out to eat.” Lifting his head up I laugh at the scowl crossing his face. “Really? You want to go out, what happened to naked day?” Lifting his head from the pillow just to check if I’m messing with him.
Seconds later I’m out and walk into my bedroom still drying my skin, looking up to see him sitting in my bed with a pillow behind him as he leans against the wooden head board, my mouth goes dry. “You look good there lover.” “You don’t look too bad either. So are you going to stand there ogling me or are you going to help with do something with this?” His hand pushes the duvet down from his stomach giving me a perfect view of his hard dick.
I’m a slightly crazy one-click addict that writes the thoughts that run through my head.
I love a good love story and always want a happy ending.
I live quietly in the Lincolnshire countryside, with my own heart-throb and my crazy dog.

REVIEW: The Break-Up by MJ Summers

TITLE: The Break-Up

AUTHOR: MJ Summers

SERIES: Full Hearts #5

PUBLICATION: May 5th 2016 by Gretz Corp

When America’s sweetheart, Courtney Bennett, finds out her husband, Brock McCain, America’s heartthrob, is leaving her, she’s sure her life is over. Thirty-nine in Hollywood is tough on any woman, but not as hard as being hunted by the relentless paparazzi. Finding herself holed up in a cabin in Colorado under the care of Wes Young, her new bodyguard, she starts to see that maybe there is life after Hollywood.

Wes Young spent more than twenty years in the Marines and the past two years in protection services. The only thing he protects more carefully than his clients is his heart. When he takes on the task of guarding Courtney Bennett, the last thing he wants to do is spend his days and nights with a spoiled, self-involved actress. Before long, Wes realizes that she is not at all what he thought. For the first time in his life, he finds himself navigating the minefield of love, trying to avoid a broken heart.
Will they risk it all to be together or return to the lives they knew before The Break Up?

ARC received from the author in exchange for an honest review
I liked and loved everything about this book. The perfect book to end one of the best series I’ve read lately.
The story is so romantic that it’s like to watch a movie. The storyline is simple: an Hollywood star actress is hiding from a scandal and a bodyguard is protecting her in a secret and peaceful place.
In this book it was not the story that captivated my attention. The author brings to life two bright, gentle, strong and real characters. They have a complex personality and their growing relationship is a journey into deception, self-esteem, trust and the discovery of true love and friendship.
Courtney is  betrayed by her husband. Her career in Hollywood is ruined and her only mistake has been to trust a man that is a control freak. She trusts him so much that trust becomes complete control not only on her acting career, but also on her own life. Even those who she thought they were friends, actually they are puppets in the hands of her husband, a further means of controlling her. Everything seems normal to Courtney, or nearly so, until the day when a wrong pill changes the course of events.
Wes is called to protect and hide the famous Hollywood actress from the limelight. He is a lonely man, Hollywood isn’t certainly his world. Keeping her hidden in his house in the woods it is not something that he agrees to do willingly, and turns Wes’ life upside down. But neither of them are aware that their forced cohabitation will lead them to discover sides of their personality too long ignored and buried by their past and experiences.
Together they will discover new meanings to the words love, share and care, and only when the break-up forces them to return to their past life, Courtney and Wes will find the courage to change and have a second chance in love.
In this book Courtney undertakes a journey toward self-awareness. She finally realizes to what extent she has allowed others to control her life and her career, made her lose her dignity and freedom. It’s a tormented  path, admitting to not being perfect it’s hard. Losing everything, career, money and affections, is what will give her instead the strength to get up, to find herself and get back her life as a free and adult woman.
She is a great character, sweet, simple, intense.
Wes is a powerful character, not only physically strong and beautiful, but he’s smart, brilliant and Courtney brings out his sweet and protective side.
At the beginning between them there is only a mutual attraction, sexual chemistry, but their relationship is a journey, their feelings grow slowly, each step they take toward self-discovery is a step that brings them
closer to love.
In the mix of all of the events there is always the  unconditional love and support of the family, Wes’ family. And when Harper, Wes’ sister, takes the stage there are laughs and smiles.
The Break-Up is heartwarming, sweet, romantic, engaging.
MJ Summers has created a 5 stars series, a MUST READ, and I will miss all the beautiful characters that have made me cry, laugh and dream.

MJ Summers currently resides in Canada, not far from the Rocky Mountains, with her husband, three young children and their goofy dog. When she’s not writing romance novels, she loves reading (obviously), snuggling up on the couch with her family for movie night (which would not be complete without lots of popcorn and milkshakes), hiking, Zumba and yoga (to make up for the milkshakes), swimming and camping (with lots of gooey s’mores and hard ciders). She also loves shutting down restaurants once a month with her girlfriends. Well, not literally shutting them down, like calling the health inspector or something. More like just staying until they shut the lights off.
MJ is a member of the Romance Writers of America, as well as the International Women’s Writing Guild.

REVIEW: Stuck Landing by Lauren Gallagher

TITLE: Stuck Landing

AUTHOR: Lauren Gallagher

SERIES: Bluewater Bay #11

GENRE: F/F Contemporary Romance

PUBLICATION: December 14th 2015 by Riptide Publishing

For months, acclaimed Wolf’s Landing director/producer Anna Maxwell has been nursing a crush on Natalya Izmaylova, a former Russian gymnast and current Wolf’s Landing stunt coordinator. When Anna witnesses Natalya's very public breakup with her boyfriend, she can't resist inviting her over for drinks to commiserate about love and all that nonsense. Commiseration doesn't last long, and soon Anna's in bed with the hottest woman she's ever touched, living out fantasies she didn't even know she had.

Despite the amazing sex, Anna wants to proceed with caution. They're both newly single. They're colleagues. And there's the not-so-small matter of Anna’s biphobia.

Natalya won't commit to someone who clings to ridiculous stereotypes, but they can't avoid each other at work, and there's no ignoring their chemistry. Anna's defenses are slowly eroding, and Natalya is willing to give her another chance. But Natalya only has so much patience, and even scorching hot sex won't keep her coming back forever. If Anna doesn't come to her senses soon and let go of her prejudices -- not to mention her insecurities -- she's going to lose the woman of her dreams.

Book received from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

I’ve requested this book because I wanted to read a new F/F Romance. Only at the end I found out that this book is part of a long series written by different authors. So I’ve read it without any expectation.
I loved the writing and the first person narration, and the setting of the story is attractive, but I just can't get into the characters.
Anna, the director/producer, has a crash on the beautiful Natalya, the stunt coordinator. When they finally have the chance to get together, Anna is always overthinking about the fact that Natalya is bisexual. She is so boring that if I was Natalya sometimes I would have slapped her.
The book is enjoyable, nothing amazing. I had the feeling that the focus was on Anna biphobia and not on the story between Anna and Natalya.
I liked more the side characters like Levie and Carter.
As the previous books are M/M, and most of them written by my favorite authors, I’ll start the series from the beginning.

REVIEW: Indigo Nights by Louise Bay

TITLE: Indigo Nights

AUTHOR: Louise Bay

SERIES: Nights #3

PUBLICATION: February 9th 2016

The only thing better than cake is cake with a side of orgasms.

Dylan James has no expectations when it comes to relationships. He uses women for sex and they use him for his money and power. It’s quid pro quo and he's good with that. It works.

Beth Harrison has been burned. She's tired of the lies and the game playing that men bring and has buried herself in her passion—baking which keeps her out of the reach of heartbreak. As she begins her career as a TV baker, a new world opens up to her.

Dylan and Beth both know that casual sex is all about giving what you need to get what you want.

Except that sometimes you give more than you need to and get everything you ever wanted.

Indigo Nights is a hot, standalone romance.

ARC received from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

I really enjoyed this book, it was romantic and sexy with great characters.

Main characters: Beth, Dylan (Mr 8A) and cakes. Yes, cakes. They are the trigger and the ingredient to lighten the mood, the love and the sex between Beth and Dylan. Cakes are the soul healer, the hearthwamer and the means for Beth to right the wrongs and become a better woman, stronger and focused on the real value in life.

Storyline: Apparently nothing already read in other books. She is the anonymous girl and he is the rich and sexy as hell man of her dream (… every women's wet dream). They met causually on a flight, insta-love, they have an unforgettable one night stand, they fall in love, they lived happily ever after. So, what's new? New is the ability of the author to scratch under the surface of the characters, to let see their weaknesses, their mistakes, their bad choises without being too dramatic, but to lead the reader to fully understand how real life can be: not only hearts and flowers, but also broken hearts and spiny roses. Beth is struggling every minutes of her life with alcoholism. I loved how strong and determided she is under her sweet and vulnerable appearance. Dylan himself, so arrogant, is dealing with some personal issue. I liked him because he's not also sweet and funny with Beth, but he didn't treat her like she was fragile, and he wasn't overpowering her. Maybe their relationship moved too quickly, but this worked fine for them.

Narration: Through dual POVs in 1st person, the reader has a more intimate view of the character's backgrounds, their future plans, their feelings, defining their distinct personalities.

What I've learned from this book? That in life you have always a choice, that even the worst situation can be turned into something good, that the real power to become a better person is inside of ourselves. Don't let a bad experience rules your life, what's in the past, it's in the past and can't be undone. Look forward... You can find your own Mr 8A!

REVIEW: Feast On Me by Terri George

   TITLE: Feast On Me

   AUTHOR: Terri George

PUBLICATION: Published May 8th 2016 by Terri George

   MY RATING: 5 Stars

Dominant husband - Submissive wife.
Hot Sex is guaranteed, but there's Love and Romance too in their perfect marriage.
They are happy.
There’s nothing he wouldn’t do to keep her.
There’s nothing she wouldn’t do for him. Even agreeing to the ultimate test of her love.
But will they survive it?

Erotic, enticing, kinky and too short. I read, devoured, this story in less then an hour. An exciting experience that left me... breathless and hot. But under the cover of kinky sex there is an intense love story, not only a wife/husband relationship, but the deep connection that only a Dom/Sub can truly have. This short story has potential, and I can see it as a great Erotic (why not BDSM?) novel. I hope the author will pursue the idea of giving us all Jessica and David story.
BTW Terri, why I'm not surprised you named the alpha man after THE DAVID, the Sexy, Cady Gandy? (you're a naughty girl!)
